Hello,
a bit about me:
I moved to the Bay Area in 1995 from São Paulo, Brazil, to study culinary arts and photography. What started as a catering business quickly turned into a gateway to Silicon Valley’s startup and innovation scene. Over the years, I built a strong network.
In 2012, I founded SiliconHouse, a platform that connects global entrepreneurs and businesses to Silicon Valley’s ecosystem. I’ve worn many hats—advisor to investors, mentor to international startups, and even a personal chef and caterer in the early days. My journey has provided me a front-row seat to the market's resilience, especially during the 2008 economic downturn, reinforcing my belief that innovation is our perennial beacon. I’ve witnessed firsthand how creativity and adaptability drive meaningful change, even in the most challenging times.
In recent years, my focus has expanded beyond startups. As the sole caregiver for my aging parents, I navigated the complexities of elderly care. That experience reshaped my perspective, deepening my passion for advocating dignity in aging, helping families prepare for life’s final stages, and fostering a more open dialogue about end-of-life care.
Beyond my work, I find creativity and reflection through photography and painting—two passions that allow me to express myself and stay grounded.
I’m also committed to giving back. I serve on the boards of two non profits. Hospital for Hope and Brazilian Women Collective (BWC), working to create impact where it’s needed most. Helping others is what drives me—when passion and purpose align, incredible things happen.
